Col di Corte Winemaker Dinner

Join us in welcoming Giacomo Rossi from Col di Corte to Lupa! Giacomo will lead a five-course dinner with wine pairings from his winery.

Col di Corti is located on the northern shore of the river Esino. The terroir here is ideal for the production of mineral-tinged dry white wines, thanks mostly to its calcareous, clay and limestone-rich soils and a relatively dry maritime climate. The temperate climate here is due to Jesi’s proximity to the Adriatic, and to the gentle winds from the Esino that offer the vineyards ventilation. Giacomo’s philosophy is that of the craftsman,  as he believes the industrial world has shown us its limitations. He is currently adopting Biodynamic practices.

While a focus on Verdicchio, we will also enjoy an appearance by Col di Corti’s, Lacrima di Morro. An aromatic, unique, nothing comparable to it, dry red. The grape is indigenous to Le Marche and surely more obscure than Verdicchio. You’ve probably tasted nothing like it!
