The Pelissero family has been cultivating vineyards in Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco DOCG appellation, for three generations. The winery focuses on traditional Piemontese varietals: Nebbiolo; Barbera; and Dolcetto, all of which will join us this evening. In 1960, Luigi Pelissero started bottling the estate grapes and selling the wines under the family label. Giorgio Pelissero runs the business as owner and oenologist. He continues to place the utmost importance on the family’s personal involvement in each step, from the vineyards to the cellar.
